Privacy Policy / Patient rights:
Boca House Recovery Community offers unique addiction recovery programs located in beautiful Boca Raton in South Florida. Boca House is not only a place to live, but represents the beginning of a new sober, responsible life for yourself. We provide our patients and residents with an environment that inspires change. We offer a safe, clean, secure environment in the middle of a year-round tropical climate. You will be surrounded with caring individuals who are a testament to the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.

Your privacy is one of our many goals here at Boca House. Your treatment here is held in the utmost confidence; so you can rest assured that your recovery will be your business alone. Most importantly, Boca House is a private place where people learn to trust themselves again. A place that allows the transition from treatment to independence to take place almost effortlessly; where long-term recovery is not just a goal, but a way of life.

Patient rights policy:
Boca House Recovery Communities conducts treatment in accordance with all state and national licensing and accreditation standards. Each patient receiving treatment for an alcohol and/or drug addiction have rights which include the following:

  1. The right to confidentiality as provided for in Title 42, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2; and Title 45, Parts 160 & 164.
  2. To get information from Boca House Recovery Communities of the procedures to file a grievance or to appeal an early discharge from program.
  3. To be placed in a safe, healthful group environment.
  4. To be free from verbal, emotional, physical abuse, and/or inappropriate sexual behavior.
  5. To be given dignity in contact with staff
  6. To express personal preference regarding case manager, counselor or any other service personnel
  7. To have access to review of his/her health records, and have the opportunity to request a correction to personal records, if appropriate; and to receive a copy of the said records within 30 days of a written request.
  8. To be free from discrimination based on: ethnic or gender group identification, religion, age, sex, color or any type of disability.
  9. To have the freedom to attend religious services or activities of his or her choice and to have visits from a spiritual advisor– provided that these services or activities do not conflict with facility program requirements. Participation in religious services is of course, a personal choice.

***Complaints regarding any violation of a patients rights should be directed to that pertinent state department for alcohol and drug treatment licensure.

Personally Provided Information:
Boca House Recovery Communities asks for some personal information to view our site. This information is held in the strictest confidence internally and will be restricted. Your information is not shared externally for any reason, unless you have given specific written consent to do so.

Disclosure:
Boca House Recovery Communities does not disclose, give, sell or transfer any personal information about our visitors, unless specifically required for law enforcement or statute reasons. Boca House has a responsibility to strictly adhere to protecting the security and confidentiality of its patient’s personal health information. Boca House will not release any of your information without a specified written consent from the patient. Such disclosure is only permitted under legally concise elements of current federal laws. Each staff member is dedicated to upholding these standards in all verbal, written or electronically transmitted communications and records.
